Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR USE OF <br />RAMSEY PARK CENTER BUILDING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Ramsey City Council to clearly state the policy <br />relating to the use of the Ramsey Park Center Building to serve as guidance to the City Staff and <br />the general public. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following policy shall govern the use of the Ramsey Park Center <br /> <br />Building: <br /> <br />Use and Priority of Usc: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park Center Building houses the park and recreation administrative office. <br />Additionally, the Ramsey Park Center Building serves as official location for the Ramsey Youth <br />Athletic Association. <br /> <br />The priority of use of these facilities is as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) Ramsey Youth Athletic Association <br /> <br />2) Organized groups serving the youth: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Community School functions <br />Groups performing a public service for youth (e.g., AA, Mediation <br />Services, educational services, etc.) <br />Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g., Boy Scouts, Girl <br />Scouts) <br />Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine meetings <br /> <br />3) Other organized groups: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />Senior citizen gq'oups <br />Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, etc.) <br />Groups whose purpose is to perform public service <br />Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine meetings <br /> <br />3) General public <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Church or religious organizations may use the facility after entering into an <br />agreement with the City of Ramsey which clarifies the proper separation of church <br />and State. <br /> <br /> <br />
