LEFEBVRE <br />County Auditor <br />Ext, 1134 <br /> The Honorable Gary Reimann <br /> Mayor of Ramsey <br /> 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW <br /> Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br /> <br /> .... <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Reimann: <br /> <br />We have been informed by the State Department of Revenue <br />that they are cancelling the October 1 and subsequent <br />deadlines for certifying your proposed levy, publishing the <br />notice of your public hearing, and holding your public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />If the notice of your public hearing has already been <br />published, you must hold the public hearing. However, do <br />not adopt your final levy at the public hearing. <br /> <br />At this time, the 1989 bill changes, for this year only, the <br />October 1 deadline for certifying proposed levies to <br />November 15. In addition, it changes the November 9 <br />deadline for certifying final levies to December 28. Under <br />the bill, the publication of the notices and the public <br />hearings would take place between mid-November and the end <br />of December. <br /> <br />You will be receiving a letter from the State Department of <br />Revenue within the next few days. <br /> <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />Charles R.
