ANOKA COUNTY' ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP <br /> <br />DATE: October 6, 1989 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Anoka County Board of Commissioners <br />Anoka County Mayors <br />Area Economic Development Professionals <br />Anoka County Chambers of Commerce <br /> <br />FROM: Roger Jensen, executive director of the Anoka County Economic <br /> Development Partnership <br /> <br />SUBJECT: House Economic Development Task Force Public Hearing <br /> scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 1989 <br /> <br />This is to inform you that the House Economic Development Task Force will <br />be holding a public hearing beginning at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, <br />1989 at the Minnesota Medical Enterprise Center - II, 8960 SpMngbrook <br />Drive, Suite 200 in Coon Rapids (see enclosed map). <br /> <br />The purpose for the hearing will be for the task force to gather public Input <br />on what our communities are doing in the area of economic development and <br />what tools are important to them. The task force will use the input from <br />this and other meetings held throughout the state to formulate their <br />legislative direction in the 1990 session. <br /> <br />The heaMng will begin at 10:00 a.m. with opening remarks by the chair of <br />the task force followed by presentations from five of our economic <br />development professionals. They will give examples of the types of <br />economic development projects that are occurMng in our county. Following <br />these presentations, others in attendance will be given the opportunity to <br />speak. The heaMng will be followed by a buffet type lunch. <br /> <br />You are invited to attend this hearing and luncheon.
