TO:. <br /> FRDM: <br /> <br />D~ <br />REGARDING: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Bruce Hoeke, Fire Chief <br /> <br />June 26, 1989 <br /> <br />Requ,...,s! for Open Burning Permit tor F & R Enterprises <br /> <br />I contacted Mr. Doug Freeby, Anoka's Fire Marshall, and asked him if he would <br />allow burning on the site of F & R Enterprises. <br /> <br />Mr. Freeby indicated fha! he would not allow the burning due to the following <br /> <br />reasons; <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br /> Smoke drilling across Highway 10 obscuring the visibility of the <br /> traffic on the Highway. <br /> <br /> 2. Smoke being blown over 1he Anoka Airport. <br /> <br /> 3. Sparks and hot ashes being blown over ~Ihe grove of pines and <br /> creating a fire h=.-ard. <br /> <br />I a!sc called Mr. Russ Anderson, Elk River Fire Chief, and relaled to him the <br />request for a burning permit at F & R Enterprises. He rela~ed the same concerns <br />we had with the burning at this location. <br /> <br /> <br />
