Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />RESOLUTION 89- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of 178th Lane NW. and Xenolith St. NW.. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of <br />lawful signatures of affected property owners. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the City Charter <br />and Minnesota Statues concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />I. A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of 178th Lane NW. and Xenolith St. NW. has been filed with the City <br />Council on October 10, 1989. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required <br />percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to the City of <br />Ramsey ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statue Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2. The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the <br />project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it <br />should be best to be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement, <br /> <br />3. The above mention project shall hereby referred to by the project number 89-22. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of October, 1989. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
