Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION'%89-10- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR BUCK BLACKTOP, INC. (PROJECT ~89-1 RIVER'S BEND PARK - SOUTH DEVELOPMENT) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, bids were received by city Council Resolution %89-04-69 on April 11, 1989; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 13, 1989; and WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution 089-06-132 awarding the contract to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the improvements at River's Bend Park. WHEREAS, city Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Buck Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $20,863.03. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the improvements at River's Bend Park (Improvement Project 89-1) in the amount of $20,863.03. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution ~89-10- approving payment of bills for the month of October, 1989. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. 5) That payment shall be made from City fund 231: Rivers Bend Park Improvements - CDBG. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutions was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the 24th day of October, 1989.
