Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION'#89-11- RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2, BUCK BLACKTOP, INC. (PROJECT 89-1 - RIVER'S BEND SOUTH DEVELOPMENT). WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey entered into an agreement with Buck Blacktop, Inc. for construction of the improvements at River's Bend Park on July 11, 1989. WHEREAS, the original contract amoUnt is $101,555.55 which was amended by Change Order No. 1 to $103,522.96. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that installation of hand rails along segments of trail to serve handicapped and senior park users is desirable. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Change Order No. 2 for the improvements at River's Bend Park South Development in the amount up to $ for fabrication, installation, and painting of handicapped ra~±s along park trails at a cost of $22.50 per lineal foot. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to execute Change Order No. 2. 3) by $ That the total amount of the contract shall be increased with this change order to a total of $. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. 5) That payment for the change order item shall be made from City Fund 231: River's Bend Park Improvements - CDBG. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of November, 1989.
