Ramsey~ Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br />OCT- 3 1,989' <br /> <br />Dear Dave: <br /> <br />This is a reply regarding Lot 1~ Block 5, Ri~.~erside West, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Hy ~,ife and I are very opposed to the issuance of a Special <br />Use F'ermit to allol..v an apartment 'at th'e Jehovah Witness <br />k. ingdom Hall to accomodate visiting ministers. <br /> <br />In the psst the City of Ramsey turned down Duane Lundeen~ <br />owner of Chip's Pizze., for simil iar living arr~r, gements at <br />his property located Northwest and across the street from <br />the church. <br /> <br />The church does not pa)' taxes and it ~,.,ould be an excellent <br />gesture on the part of visiting rninisters to patronize local <br />boarding establishments when the rninisters are in to~,Jn. <br />Even if the church rented a double bungalo,.,.: or a private <br />horne it v..,ould be more appropriate. <br /> <br />E'.:,.' gr..snting a Special Use Permit the taxpayers in the City <br />of Rc~rns. ey would be subsidizing living arrangements for <br />visiting rninisters for this particular church.
