PLANNING AND ZONENG COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, <br />October 17, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />I~, Ben Deemer <br />Mr. David Bawden <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner La.Due and seconded by Commissioner Terry to approve the <br />agenda with the deletion of Cases #3 and 4/4. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Terry, Deemer, <br />Bawden, La.Due and Shumway. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendri-ksen. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request For A Conditional Use Permit Amendment To Have <br /> An Apartment In A Church; Case Of Jehovah Witness Kingdom <br /> Hall: <br /> <br />Mr. Dwight Ekwai1 was present representing Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. I~. Ekwall <br />stated that there is only one minister, the district overseer, that would be using the church <br />apartment and he would be using it 2-3 clays per week approximately 8 to 12 weeks a year. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Corr~missio~October 17, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
