THE CITY OF RAMSEY'S PURCHASING POLICY <br /> By: Sandra Ashley, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the regular Council meeting of October 10, 1989, a draft copy of an amended purchasing <br />ordinance was presented for review. Staff was instructed to prepare this ordinance for <br />introduction. A copy of this ordinance is enclosed. This copy also includes an ordinance <br />summary for publication. <br /> <br />The City's amended purchasing policy states that a City Council resolution entitled "Purchasing <br />Authority" establishes the dollar amounts and necessary approvals required for purchasing <br />regulation and control on behalf of the City of Ramsey. The proposed resolution is enclosed for <br />your review. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends introduction of this ordinance.
