Case <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF MORTON ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF STANLEY E. MORTON <br /> Mark $. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The proposed minor subdivision has a total area of 8.68 acres and will consist of two (2) 2 1/2 <br />acre lots with the remainder as a lot with 3.68 acres. The existing proposed land use is R-1 <br />Rural Residential District. The property is generally located in part of the North half ol the <br />Northeast Quarler of Section 14, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. The PIN's <br />are: 14-32-25-11-0001 and 14-32-25-12-0005. Morton <br />for Morton Addition. <br /> <br />On November 6, 1989 the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission approved the sketch plan <br />review and recommended that the Morton Addition minor subdivision proceed to City Council for <br />final plat approval contingent upon: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br />3) <br />4) <br /> <br />Review of the proposed subdivision by the Ramsey Park and Recreation <br />Commission <br />Dedication of addition right-of-way for Highway #47 (if applicable). <br />Extending an easement for Krypton Street N.W. to the south property line <br />Modification of the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) issued to the property for a <br />nursery (if applicable). <br /> <br />On November 9, 1989, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission recommended sketch plan <br />approval and that cash in the amount of $1,000.00 ($500.00/1ot) for the newly created lots be <br />used to satisfy the park dedication requirement. <br /> <br />Review of the CUP reveals that it only applies to the Morton homestead and not the proposed two <br />new lots. Assignment of PINs by 1he Anoka County Auditor's office, upon recording of this plat, <br />will change PiN of the Morton homestead with the parcel being changed from 3 acres to 3.68 <br />acres. This should not materially change or require a change in the existing CUP, since it refers <br /> <br /> <br />
