Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF MORTON ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stanley E. Morton and Shelly L. Morton, hereafter referred to as <br />"Developers", have properly applied for plat approval on the following described property <br />located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />That part of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at 1he <br />intersection of the North line of said Section 14 with the centerline of State <br />Trunk Highway #47 as the same is now laid out and traveled, said point being <br />762.3 feet East from the North Quarter corner of said Section 14; thence Soulh 3 <br />degrees 05 minules East along the centerline of said highway a distance of <br />540.55 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be hereby <br />described; thence South 1 degree 52 minutes East continuing along said <br />centerline a distance of 420.0 feet; thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes East a <br />distance of 894.39 feet; thence North 0 degrees 19 minutes East a distance of <br />419.74 feet; thence North 89 degrees 52 minutes West a distance of 910.40 feet <br />to the actual point of beginning. <br /> <br />Subject to easement for highway purposes and subject to easements of record. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on <br />November 6, 1989 and recommended the Developers ,[o proceed to '[he final plat stage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission met on November 9, <br />1989 and recommended that cash be used to satisfy park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby grants final plat approval for Morton <br />Addition in accordance with the relevant City Codes. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voled against the same' <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and 1he following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of November, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
