CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE THE PROPOSED PLAT OF FLEISCHER'S 2ND <br />ADDITION FROM R.3 URBAN RESIDENTIAL AND B-1 BUSINESS TO R-1 <br />URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF DOLORAS FLEISCHER <br /> By: Planning Assistant Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Doloras Fleischer is requesting approval to rezone the proposed plat of Fleischer's 2nd Addition to <br />R-1 Urban Residential. The subject parcel is in the 1990 MUSA area, located east of Nowthen <br />Blvd. and south of 148th Lane and is approximately 45 acres in size. The property is presently <br />zoned with R-1 Urban Residential, R-3 Urban Residential and B-1 Business. The applicant is <br />proposing to develop the plat with 87 single family lots to be served by sanitary sewer and <br />municipal water. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />There are mixed opinions regarding the proposed rezoning among some of the City Staff. City Staff recommends adoption of findings of fact, approval of the request for <br />rezoning and introduction of the ordinance to rezone the proposed plat of Fleischer's 2nd Addition <br />to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact . relating to Doloras Fleischer's request to rezone the proposed <br />plat of Fleischer's 2nd Addition from R-3 Urban Residential and B-1 Business to R-1 <br />Urban Residential. <br /> <br /> <br />
