CASE # 7 <br /> <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PURCHASING AUTHORITY <br /> By: Sandra G. Ashley, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the regular Council meeting of November 14, 1989 a draft copy of a resolution entitled <br />"Purchasing Authority" was presented to the Council. This resolution establishes the dollar <br />amounts and necessary approvals required for purchasing regulation and control on behalf of the <br />City of Ramsey, and it is required to implement the amended Purchasing Ordinance adopted by the <br />Council at the regular meeting of November 28, 1989. The mended Purchasing Ordinance will be <br />effective January 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends adoption of the resolution this evening to assure full implementation of the <br />purchasing policy by January 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #89-12-__ establishing dollar amounts and necessary approvals <br />required for purchasing regulation and control on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator X <br />City Attorney X <br />City Engineer .
