As you'll recall, the City had proposed an alignment
which was near Hwy. 10 rather than towards the river. Metropolitan
Council and Anoka County had both indicated that a preferred
alignment would be more closely associated with the river than Hwy.
10.

Based on discussion, the City Council offers the following:

1)

The south alignment shall be indicated as a probable alignment
west of Alpaca Estates (see enclosure).

2)

The alternate alignment to the north defines the approximate
northern limits of where the trail corridor would be located.

3)

The city will then work with the developer to provide a
mutually satisfactory alignment which would be somewhere
within the limits set by the south and north alignments at the
time of platting.

If this is acceptable to the County and MC, we will prepare an
ordinance for introduction implementing the same. We would
appreciate receiving any comments %hat you have by December 4.

Sincerely,

HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC.

Merl~nd Otto
cc: Mark Banwart, Comm.
