ERICA MARIE WILSON Notary Public- Minnesota My Commission Expires Jan 31, 2016 Ad ID 19636 Notary Public Rate Information: (1) Lowest classified rate paid by commercial users for comparable space: $20.00 per column inch CITY OF RAMSEY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Ramsey City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, to pass upon the pro- posed assessment for past -due charges on your utility bill, (which may include water, sewer, street lighting, recycling, storm water util- ity charges, and penalties incurred) and current City services rendered. Affected property owners may at any time, between September 25, 2013 and November 8, 2013, (prior to certification of the assessment to the Anoka County Auditor) pay to the City of Ramsey, the entire assessment. No interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by November 8, 2013. If an af- fected property owner decides not to prepay the assessment by No- vember 8, 2013, the rate of interest that will apply is 4.86 percent per year and will accrue from the date of adoption (September 24, 2013) to December 31, 2014. The right to partially prepay the assessment is not available. The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the City Administrator's office. If you wish to object to the assessment of unpaid utilities, you may file your written or oral objection at the As- sessment Hearing at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive N.W., Ramsey, Min- nesota. If you wish, you may appeal the assessment of unpaid utilities to Anoka County District Court un- der Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.081. To do so you must: 1. File a signed, written objec- tion to the amount of that assess- ment, prior to the September 24, 2013 Assessment Hearing, or pres- ent the written objection to the pre- siding officer at the Hearing. 2. Serve notice of the appeal to the Mayor or the City Clerk within 30 days after the adoption of the assessment and file such notice with the District Court within 10 days after the notice was served to the Mayor or the City Clerk.
