The Ramey Fire Department will have an Open House on Saturday, October 12, from 11:00 am — 2:00 p.m. — Fire Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW. City Council Work Session (5:30 p.m. — LIR) — Dinner will be provided. • Discussion Regarding the Annual Performance Review of the City Administrator, an Individual Who is Subject to City Council's Authority Personnel Committee (Immed. following Work Session — LIR) • Resolution to Accept a Paid -on -call Firefighter's Resignation Public Work Committee (Immed. following Personnel — LIR) • Consider Stop Sign Request for Potassium St and 143rd Circle • Clarify Policy for Traffic Control on Modified Intersections Council Update Update on Proposed Franchise Fee Public Hearings. On Tuesday, October 8 the City Council opened Public Hearings in the Council Chambers to introduce draft ordinances that, if adopted, would allow for the implementation of franchise fees which would be dedicated solely to help fund the city's long -term street maintenance program over the next 5 years. After holding the Public Hearing and receiving public comment, the City Council determined that the draft ordinances needed further work so a motion was passed to postpone action on this item to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22n in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Center. At that time, the City Council will review the revised draft ordinances. At the next meeting, City Council will consider whether to approve introduction of the ordinance and call for a second reading of the ordinances on November 12 at which time the ordinances could be adopted. Due to the 90 -day notification requirement to the utilities, the actual fee would not go into place until February or March of 2014.
