<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-09-169 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO END THE CITY ENGINEER’S PROBATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Mr. Bruce Westby began working as the City Engineer on April 8, 2013, <br />and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Mr. Westby has successfullycompleted the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff recommends removing Mr. Westby from probation <br />and retaining him as the full-time regular City Engineer. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution 13-09-169 confirming the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period for Bruce Westby and retain him as the full- <br />time regular City Engineer. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Backous, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
