<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-13-170 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THE I.T. SPECIALIST TO AN I.T. COORDINATOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />in September 2012, staff was directed to fill the I.T. role with an I.T. <br />Specialist rather than an I.T. Manager on a temporary basis, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />in October 2012, Mr. Jason Fredrickson was hired as an I.T. Specialist, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />staff's strategic schedule of progression for this position, as well as the <br />direction set by the strategic plan, account for the reclassification of this position in order to meet <br />the City’s public service needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />staff recommends reclassifying Mr. Jason Fredrickson, the current I.T. <br />Specialist to an I.T. Coordinator, effective October 12, 2013, at $27.03 per hour and to waive the <br />6-month probationary period. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T. RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) Motion to approve a resolution, which confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to reclassify the current I.T. Specialist to an I.T. Coordinator at $27.03 per <br />hour, effective October 12, 2013 and to waive the 6-month probationary period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Backous, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
