Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />HRA RESOLUTION #13-10-176 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DAVE PERKINS <br />CONTRACTING INC. FOR PROJECT 13-12 NORTH COMMONS (COR THREE) 4 LOT <br />RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, on May 28, 2013 the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of <br />Ramsey authorized improvements to the four platted residential lots on the west side of the North <br />Commons park, east of Zeolite Street NW, including sewer and water services, driveway aprons, <br />sidewalks, repairs to Zeolite Street where the services and driveway aprons were added, a storm <br />sewer outlet for the park, and other appurtenant improvements; and, <br />WHEREAS, on July 23, 2013 quotes were solicited for said improvements; and, <br />WHEREAS, on July 29, 2013 quotes were opened and Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. <br />submitted the low quote of $91,712; and, <br />WHEREAS, as of October 22, 2013 $65,399.90 has been paid to date; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. in the amount of $30,333.50. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. <br />for Improvement Project #13-12; in the amount of $30,333.50. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the improvements and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 22, 2013. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #13-10-176 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
