Sylvia Frolik volunteered to make arrangements to have the necessary equipment in the
conference room for a group participation exercise with the tree preservation software.

Greg Wheeler volunteered to e-mail a copy of the software interview questions to all committee
members so that they may be prepared to give their responses at the next meeting.

Consensus was that there should be a list of resources and contact persons that can help the
committee with their assigned tasks. Committee members were encouraged to forward any good
contacts and resources to Sylvia Frolik and Mark Boos and they would compile a list to be
distributed to all members.

7. Confirm Meeting Dates

The consensus was that the group has to meet more than once a month. Consensus was to meet
again on June 27 and July 18, at 6:30 p.m.

Again the question was raised as to who will lead the group through these tasks to the end. Mr.
McDilda said there should be a vice-chair. Margaret Connolly stated that she felt that this
committee was too important to be caught up in politics; she has been on the Council before and
may be a candidate for office again; Todd Cook had been a candidate before and may be a
candidate again; she is more comfortable with the leadership of this committee not to be caught
up in politics or the appearance of using this committee for personal political gain.

Consensus was that the first item on the next agenda will should be appointment of chair and
vice-chair.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting of the Environmental Policy Task Force adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Community Development Director
