Regional Detention Basins <br /> <br />Retrofit existing conveyance systems when feasible due to <br />need, benefit, cost, and include on all new systems. <br /> <br />Incorporate in new conveyance systems. <br /> <br />Preserve and use existing wetlands greater than 1 acre in size <br />(Types 3, 4, 5). <br /> <br />4. Restore historic wetlands where area undeveloped or vacant. <br /> <br />Create new wetlands at detention basins along conveyance <br />system. <br /> <br />Construct outlet control systems for existing, restored, or <br />new wetlands to provide for more effective operation and <br />maintenance. <br /> <br />C.
