governmental subdivisions across the metro area. He explained that DNR staff met with City <br />staff on September 25, 2013. The intent of this meeting was to: <br />• Meet the staff who develop plans and administer the MRCCA ordinance <br />• Provide an overview of and answer questions about the rulemaking process <br />• Review the district map(s) for the community <br />• Go over the draft rules and identify opportunities to improve them <br />• Review the MRCCA ordinances <br />• Review the bluff maps that have been developed — these are for informational purposes <br />only and are not part of the rulemaking <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill explained the Council, EDA and staff would be <br />meeting jointly with the DNR again on October 29tn <br />Commission Business <br />Chairperson Levine was pleased that the DNR was willing to hear the City's concerns. <br />Commissioner Bauer agreed stating, a great deal of community feedback was gained during the <br />Open House and local control over land use decisions was a key issue. <br />Chairperson Levine looked forward to receiving an update from staff on this issue at the <br />November Planning Commission meeting. <br />5.05: Staff Update <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br />5.06: Zoning Bulletins <br />Zoning Bulletins were noted. <br />6.
