Social Impacts of Relocation of County Road 116

A segment of county state aid highway 116 would need to be
relocated to the north of its existing alignment in order to
provide sufficient approach clearance. The Master Plan
recommends that the road be realigned approximately one quarter
mile north where it originally was planned to be located.

No disruption of current traffic flows or increase in t!ne for
emergency response vehicles would be incurred by this relocation.
The realignment, however, may bound a residential parcel such that
three sides of the parcel would front on a street or roadway.
This may necessitate the acquisition of an additional parcel.

2.10 INDUCED (SECONDARY) SOCIO-ECONO~IC IMPACTS

Positive Impacts

Surveys of area businesses, based aircraft owners, and pilots
which were conducted for the Master Plan Study characterized
aviation activity, future needs perceived by the airport users,
and the socio-economic contributions to the airport and the
community. In its
broadest sense, the te~ "general aviation", is all flying

2-34
