CASE # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZE RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION <br />WACO STREET (149TH AVENUE N.W. TO 150TH AVE. N.W.) <br />By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mn/DOT has approved the right-of-way plans for Waco Street N.W. <br />between 149th Avenue N.W. and 150th Avenue N.W. The right-of-way <br />for Waco Street is required for the installation of sewer and water <br />to the plat:of Juniper Woods. <br /> <br />To proceed with the project, the city should authorize the city <br />Attorney to acquire the right-of-way by direct negotiation or <br />condemnation. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a copy of the letter from Mn/DOT dated January 16, 1990 <br />approving the right-of-way plans and a resolution authorizing <br />acquisition of right-of-way. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The City Council has ordered the plans for extension of sewer and <br />water to the plat of Juniper Woods.
