Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 90-01- RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING THE UPDATING OF FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR WACO STREET N.W. AND WACO DRIVE N.W. BITUMINOUS SURFACING IMPROVEMENT (PROJECT #90-01) WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bituminous surfacing for Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W.; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has tound the petition to be in accord with the City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I ) A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bituminous sudacing for Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W has been filed with the City Council on January 23, 1990. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to the City of Ramsey ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2 ) The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he is instructed to updated feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected properly owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should be best to be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. 3) The above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to by the Project #90-01 . The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of January, 1990.
