Unused monthly health and major medical benefits shall be paid to the Employee annually net <br />of all taxes. <br /> <br />Vacation: Employee shall receive 10 vacation days on January 1 of each year. Employee <br />may accrue vacation leave to a maximum of the amount earned in one (1) year. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Sick Leave: Employee shall be entitled to sick leave with pay at the rate of one (1) day for <br />each calendar month of full-time service or major fraction thereof. Sick leave may be accrued <br />to a maximum of sixty (60) days at a rate of one (1) day per month. Unused sick leave in <br />excess of sixty (60) days at the end of a calendar year (January lst) shall be converted m <br />vacation at a rate of one (1).hour vacation for each two (2) hours of sick leave in excess of <br />sixty (60) days. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Hours of Work: The Employer recognizes the requirement for time spent by Employee <br />outside the typical forty (40) hour work week and will therefore allow Employee to take <br />personal time off as Employee deems appropriate during normal office hours. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Professional Development: Employer hereby agrees to budget for and to pay the travel <br />and subsistence expenses of Employee for professional and official travel, meetings and <br />occasions adequate to continue the professional development of Employee and to adequate]y <br />pursue necessary official and other functions for Employer. Employer also agrees to budget <br />and to pay for the travel and subsistence expenses of Employee for short courses, institutes <br />and seminars that are necessary for his/her professional development and for the good of the <br />Employer. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />General Expenses: Effective with this Agreement, the Employer shall reimburse <br />Employee for business related expenses including meals and travel. The Employer will pay <br />mileage for the use of the Employee's automobile at the standard rate paid to other <br />Employees. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />Employment Performance: The parties agree that the Employer will establish goals in <br />order to judge Employee's employment performance. Based on Employee's performance, <br />Employer may, in its sole discretion, consider merit pay and/or fringe benefits in addition to <br />those items as described heretofore in this Agreement. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
