June 5, 1989 <br /> <br />· Page 2 <br /> <br />Sub-committee and full committee meetings in July will be held on July 10 <br />due to the 4th of July hol.iday. <br /> <br />A motion by Glen Hardin and ~econded by Dave Bawden was approved for the Make <br />the Scene, Keep Ramsey Clean KAB Committee to become one of the select 100 in <br />the KAB network. Jim Gromberg will handle the necessary submittals. <br /> <br />Each sub-committee chairman will be contacting their members to ascertain interest <br />and commitment to the KAB program. <br /> <br />A motion by Dave Bawden and seconded by Gary H°ffard was approved to recommend to <br />City Council that the new water tower be somehow painted to give Ramsey some identity. <br /> <br />Terry Miller reported that Roger Lee, Lord of Life Church, is doing a good job of <br />promoting the KAB program and its ideals through his upcoming vacation Bible school. <br />This is a good example of carrying the interest to the community. <br /> <br />The deadline for submitting our KAB program for a National Award is August 18th. <br />Jim Gromberg is compiling data now. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at.8:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Our next meeting will be July 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramsey City Hall.
