Marketing and Customer Service <br /> <br />P() box <br /> Paul MN 55164-0663 <br /> <br />David Hartley <br />City of Ramsey Clerk <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW. <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Hartley: <br /> <br />I~/Ig '~. ..... <br /> <br />A q6estion was raised in our March 15th meeting regarding the unlikely, yet <br />possible, situation if the Unisys Election System - 2000 is not certified <br />for use in the 1990 elections. <br /> <br />It was discussed that a mutually agreeable rental plan would be negotiated <br />with Unisys for operating costs associated with experimental use of the <br />election equipment in the 1990 elections. <br /> <br />To clarify this understanding, please add the attached purchase order <br />language to the language shown on the sample purchase order as you prepare <br />your purchase order contingent on certification to be submitted to Unisys by <br />April 15, 1990. <br /> <br />We fully expect certification in June and delivery in July. However, this <br />additional purchase order language prepares both the municipalities and <br />Unisys to proceed in the event of delayed certification or no certification. <br /> <br />Thank you.
