Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90.04. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE DECENTRALIZED BRUSH CHIPPING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Ramsey City staff has prepared plans and specifications for the <br />Decentralized Brush Chipping Program and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br />City Council for approval. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council accepted the Demonstration grant from <br />Metropolitan Council for the Decentralized Brush Chipping Demonstration Program. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY. STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br />parl hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2 ) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause Io be inserted in The official <br />paper advertisement for bids upon the making of such services under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement shall be published for a period of time in accordance with <br />State Statues shall specify the work to be done, shall state the bids will be received by the City <br />Administrator until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 1990 and then at said office publicly opened <br />and read aloud as soon as practicable in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center <br />by the City Administrator and Project Manager, will then be tabulated, and will be considered <br />by the City Council at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 1990 in the Council Chambers. Any bidder <br />whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity <br />to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by security in the amount and form, and <br />subject to conditions, as provided in the information for bidders. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained; <br />and the following were absent; <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of April, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
