CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 11/12/2013 <br />By: Diana Lund, Finance <br />6. 1. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Public Hearing: Plan Modification for TIF District #2 (Open Public Hearing November 12, 2013 to Continue to <br />November 26, 2013) <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: Open Public Hearing and make motion to continue to November 26, 2013. <br />Council passed Resolution #13-09-168 at its regular City Council meeting of September 24, 2013 to schedule a <br />Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of a modification to the the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan for Tax <br />Increment Financing District #2. <br />Notification: <br />The Anoka School Board and County Auditor are to receive a copy of any fiscal/economic implications of the TIF <br />modification at least 30 days prior to the public hearing. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />The 30 day requirement as noted above will not be met by the November 12, 2013 regularly scheduled public <br />hearing date, so the request is for the public hearing to be continued to the regularly scheduled meeting of <br />November 26, 2013. <br />Funding Source: <br />TIF District #2 <br />Recommendation: <br />Recommendation is to open public hearing and continue until November 26, 2013 to meet the 30-day requirement <br />rule. <br />Action: <br />Motion to Open Public Hearing and continue until November 26, 2013. <br />No file(s) attached. <br />Attachments <br />Form Review <br />Inbox Reviewed By Date <br />Kurt Ulrich Kurt Ulrich 11/07/2013 02:55 PM <br />Form Started By: Diana Lund Started On: 10/24/2013 08:38 AM <br />Final Approval Date: 11/07/2013 <br />
