I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #90-05- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING PAVING CONTRACT FOR PAVING ENTRANCE ROAD AND PARKING LOT AT CENTRAL PARK, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 90-16. WHEREAS,, Resolution 90-04-097 authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work, and WHEREAS, the following quotes were received: Bidder Amount of Bid W.B. Miller, Inc. Aero Asphalt Buck Blacktop. · Bury & Carlson $13,840 $14,650 $14,792 $15,450 AND WHEREAS, it appears that W.B. Miller, Inc. of Ramsey, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, and WHEREAS, striping will be an additional $390 for a total cost of $14,230, and WHEREAS, this item was budgeted Improvement Budget for parks. in the 1990 Capital NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with W.B. Miller, Inc. of Ramsey, Minnesota in the name of the City of Ramsey for paving at Central Park in the amount of $14,230. 2) That the funds shall be appropriated from City General Fund, Park and Recreation Capital Outlay Budget. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of May, 1990.
