MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />City Council <br /> <br />Bruce Hoeke, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Expenditures for DNR Gama-Goat <br /> <br />May 1, 1990 <br /> <br />The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is loaning the City of Ramsey a Gama-Goat with <br />the following stipulations: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />When called upon by the DNR, Ramsey must respond to fires up to 35 miles away, <br />with two people available to man the vehicle. <br /> <br />2) Vehicle must be housed inside. <br /> <br />3) Agreement to be signed by the Mayor and the DNR. <br /> <br />4) When the City no longer wishes to keep the Gama-Goat, the City will return it. <br /> <br />The following are the costs to the City associated with the loan of the Gama-Goat: <br /> <br />a) Paint $150 <br />b) Transportation 500 <br />c) Lights and siren 800 <br />d) Slide-in unit 300 <br />e) Brush protector 500 <br />f) Training for two f'rre fighters 122 <br /> <br />Total $2,372 <br /> <br />BH:pjc <br /> <br />4;1. <br /> <br /> <br />
