Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #13 -11 -195 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST FROM SOPHIA - RAMSEY, LLC FOR <br />TERMINATION OF DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT ON LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, <br />RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 3RD ADDITION. <br />WHEREAS, on December 22, 2004, the City entered into a development contract (the <br />"Contract ") with RAMDANCE, LLC related to required improvements, sureties, and other <br />obligations related to the plat entitled Ramsey Town Center 3` Addition (the "Plat "); and <br />WHEREAS, on March 8, 2005, the City approved an assignment of the Contract to <br />Sophia - Ramsey, LLC; and <br />WHEREAS, the required improvements, sureties, and other obligations as required by <br />the Contract have been completed. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby certifies that all of Sophia - Ramsey, LLC's obligations have <br />been satisfied under the "City of Ramsey Development Contract for Ramsey Town <br />Center 3` Addition ", dated December 22, 2004, filed in the Office of the Registrar of <br />Titles for Anoka County, Minnesota on February 23, 2005 as Document No. <br />481898.008, as assigned from Ramdance, LLC to Sophia - Ramsey, LLC by the <br />"Assignment and Assumption of Development Contract for Ramsey Town Center 3` <br />Addition ", dated March 8, 2005, filed in the Office of the Registrar of Titles for <br />Anoka County, Minnesota on March 10, 2005 as Document No. 482071.006 <br />(collectively, the "Development Contract "). <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
