Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Backgroun d: <br /> <br />The proposed site plan consists of a masonry block building measuring 224' x 268' (60,032 <br />square feet). The building will also contain a 2-story office area of approximately 7,000 square <br />feet. The intended use of the building will be for manufacturing and distribution of athletic <br />equipment. The proposed operator of the facility is Parabody, Inc. The existing and proposed <br />land use is I-1 Industrial District. The building will be located on Lot 3, Block 1 of the proposed <br />Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4. The current legal description of the property is Lot 2, Block <br />1, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 3. The P.I.N. is 27-32-25-~4-0013. Sharp. <br /> <br />At the May 15, 1990 Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission special meeting, Mr. Sharp stated <br />that he will try to work with the owner of Ramsey Athletic Club to coordinate landscaping between <br />their respective hard-surfaced areas. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Recommendation: <br /> <br />On May 15, 1990, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the <br />proposed site plan for Parabody, Inc. as per the City Engineer's Review dated May 8, 1990. <br />Furthermore, consideration should be given to ensure that exterior lighting does not deflect <br />horizontally. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends site plan approval of Parabody, Inc.'s proposed project as per the City <br />Engineer's review dated May 16, 1990. <br /> <br />Staff notes that subdivision of the above stated property is concurrently being handled as the site <br />plan review proceeds. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CiD' Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City.
