Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g90-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PLACING A BOUNTY ON THE DESTRUCTION OF <br />POCKET GOPHERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board has the authority to place a bounty on the <br />destruction of pocket gophers in the County of Anoka pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br />348.12 and 348.13; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board desires to place a bounty of $.75 per <br />pocket gopher for the destruction of pocket gophers in those municipalities or townships <br />that elect to pay the individual at least $.75 per pocket gopher and where said municipality <br />or township will certify to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each <br />individual; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board, on April 10, 1990, adopted Resolution <br />g90-34 placing a bounty on the destruction of pocket gophers in the amount of $.75 per <br />pocket. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESTOA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That Anoka County will reimburse $.75 per pocket gopher to the City of Ramsey in <br />accordance w/th Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and 348.13 and that the City of Ramsey <br />shall certify to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each <br />individual. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22nd day of May, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
