But generally
speaking, what they're look~ng for is a compliance of
things like insurance, zoning, so forth. And in anis
case, I hate ~o say it, bu~ the amusmen~ cen~er on
Highway 10 hasn'~ mac ~nat requirements. Taey signed
taeir name and paid tnei£ fee. And they've s~a~ed
aney're an amusemena cen:ar and tear's all taey s=ated.

Their previous businesses would lead anyone who
~alked to them in that manner to O~lieve that they were
expanding a video arcade business. And I believe our
City Council acted in =na~ manner. Taey, in fact, did
approve and issue a license thinking tna~ it was a
child's arcade taing.

I'm of the opinion zna~ we as residents of unis city
should lobby, snoutd communicate, saould tal~ to by
telepaone, leauers, any~aing we can do zo communicate to
our government, because it's our government, what we feel
about ~aese t~ings. They want to enow who we are and
wha~ emotions we ~ave abou~ particular issues.

We need to communicate ~o ~nem and we need ~o a~tend
~he mee=ings.
