For many of you, you are <br />no~ u~ed to public spea~ing and it's probably <br />difficult ~o get up and tal~ to a whole group of people. <br />I'm not going ~o try and add any more facts. I think we <br />heard aDou~ the relationship between pornography and <br />sexual violence against women and children and men. <br /> <br /> I would like to let you Know, however, of something <br />more you can do besides helping with the picketing <br />efforts here and that's to write to your representative <br />and your senators on ~ne congressional level. I a~aended <br />the first meeting in April and only a couple of days <br />la,er I received something in Z~e ma~l ~elling me about <br />~he Pornographic Victims Act. This is a Dill tna~ nas <br />been introduced in~o congress and ~hey would li~e us to <br />please urge our respresen~a~ive and our senators <br />suppor~.i~. P~at i~ would do is it would hold <br />responsible ~ne people who produce, distribute, and sell <br />obscene ma~erials and pornography when i~ can O~ shown, <br />as we've heard f~om so many people who have spoken nero <br />tonight, ~haa it did indeed play a par~ in crime.
