SEY , MINNESOTA <br /> <br />This Federal Finding has been prepared for proposed development <br />at the Ganeway No~th indusnrial Airporn, Ramsay, Minn-eso.ta. The <br />proposal which was evaluated in %~e a~tached Environmental <br />Assessmen[ (EA)is as follows' <br /> <br />Acquisition of approximately 230 acres o~ land including two <br />commercial establishments and 19 residences to provide <br />~ublzc ownership of the airport facility ~and associated <br />mpproach zones~ paving and reconilguration of Runway 16/xq <br />-o orovide a -5' x 3300' nard surface ~unwav' construct <br />maxilla! and connecting £axiway system; runway i~ghtzng and <br />approach aid improvements; obstrucnzon removal- bui!cing <br />area lmprovemenns (aprons, hangars, auto parking and airport <br />re'Ired acnivities). <br /> <br />Since ~n zs not known at this time i~ the relocation o~ Counn~ <br />Road 116 will affect Anoka County Wetland No. l!g, as identi!ied <br />in the EA, the airport sponsor has the responsibility to provide <br />mitigation measures if there is wet'and toss resulting ~rom this <br />project. <br /> <br />After careful and thorough consideration of ~the ~acts contained <br />herein, the undersigned ~inds that the proposed ~ederal action is <br />consistent with existing national enviror~enta! policies and <br />objectives as set ~orth in Section 10i(a) o~ the National <br />Environmental Policy Act o~ 1969 (NEPA) and that it will not <br />otherwise include any condition requiring consultation pursuan% <br />to Section i02(2)(C) o~ NEPA. <br /> <br />No mitigating measures are planned since <br />significant environmental impacts identified. <br /> <br />there 'are no <br /> <br />Having met all relevant requirements for environmental <br />consideration.., and consultation, the proposed action is <br />authorized to be taken at such time as other requirements have <br />been met. <br /> <br /> <br />
