I <br />PURPOSE OF AG~ <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of January 1, 1985 between the CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, hereinafter called the Employer, and LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR <br />SERVICES, INC., hereinafter called LELS. <br /> <br />It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to: <br /> <br />1.1 <br /> <br />Assure sound and mutually beneficial working and economic relationships <br />between the parties hereto; <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />Establish procedures for the resolution of disputes concerning this <br />Agreement's interpretation and/or application; and <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />Place in written form the parties' agreement upon terms and conditions of <br />employment for the duration of this Agreement. <br /> <br />The Employer and LELS, through this Agreement, shall continue their dedication <br />to the highest quality of police service and protection to the residents of the City of <br />Ramsey.
