Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br /> <br />LELS Member. A member of Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br />Employee. A member of the exclusively recognized bargaining unit. <br />Department. The Ramsey Police Department. <br /> <br />Employer. The City of Rsmsey. <br /> <br />Chief. The Chief of the Ramsey Police Department. <br /> <br />LELS Officer. Officer elected or appointed by Law Enforcement Labor <br />Services, Inc. <br /> <br />Overtime. Work performed at the express authorization of the Employer in <br />excess of the employee's scheduled shift. <br /> <br />Scheduled Shift. A consecutive work period including two rest breaks and a <br />lunch break. <br /> <br />Rest Breaks. Two periods during the Scheduled Shift during which the <br />employee remains on continual duty and is responsible for assigned duties° <br /> <br />Lunch Break. A period during the Scheduled Shift during which the <br />employee remains on continual duty and is responsible for assigned duties. <br /> <br />Strike.
