16.1 <br /> <br />16.2 <br /> <br />16.3 <br /> <br />16,4 <br /> <br />ARTICLE XVI <br /> HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />Employees will receive or be given credit in the work schedule for ten and <br />one half (10.5) holidays per year. <br /> <br />Employees may take holiday time only with specific scheduled permission <br />of the Employer. <br /> <br />Effective January 1. 1990, employees required to work on any of the holidays <br />of Independence Day (4th of July). Thankswivin~ Day and Christmas Day, <br />shall receive an additional 1/2 time for each hour the_v work on such <br /> <br />Each employee shall have the option to sell any or all of his/her holiday <br />hours back to the employer at his/her current rate of pay. This holiday buy <br />back option may be taken durin~ two time peri0~]s armuallv; January 1 <br />through january_ 15 and November I through November 15.
