On April 5, 1990, the Ramsey City Council and Planning and Zoning Commissions were sent a <br />memorandum regarding the erection of two (2) demonstration light fixtures located on 167th <br />Avenue N.W. at Coquina Street N.W. and Zirconium Street N.W. as well as asking for <br />comments. <br /> <br />On June 5, 1990, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission members provided a list of <br />location and their priorities for street lights. <br /> <br />On June 6, 1990, Police Chief Mike Auspos reviewed the location/priority list. <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />On May 1, 1990, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission made the following <br />recommendations: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />City Council select as the City's choice of street light styles that model temporarily erected <br />at 167th Avenue N.W. and Coquina Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) City Council adopt the proposed Street Light Ordinance. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />City Council direct the cost of street lighting be handled in accordance with the proposed <br />amendment to Ramsey City Code 190.1 Street Lighting System and the proposed City of <br />Ramsey Street Lighting Policy and proposed amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends setting a public hearing to consider the proposed ordinance, consider the Police <br />Department/Planning and Zoning Commission combined list of street light locations, table the <br />proposed street lighting policy and approve list for street light locations. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to set/not set a public hearing for July 10, 1990 to consider Ramsey Ordinance g90- : <br />An Ordinance Amending Section 170.039C Basic Improvements Installed by Developer 2. <br />STAGE I Improvements i.
