ORDINANCE #90- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br />SUBDIVISION <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />TO CHAPTER 170.03 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE <br />CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 170.039C BASIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS INSTALLED BY DEVELOPER 2. STAGE I <br />IMPRQVEMENTS, i. STREET LIGHTS OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota hereby ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 170.039C Basic Improvements Installed by a Developer, 2. Stage I <br />Improvements, i. Street Lights is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Street Lights: Street lights meeting City standards and specifications shall be <br />installed at street intersections with County, State and collector streets bordering the <br />subdivision at points designated by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />In Municipal Urban Service Area (MUSA), street lights shall also be installed at all <br />interior street intersections and at intervals of approximately 400 feet or as mutually <br />agreed upon by the Developer and City Engineer. <br /> <br />Street lights shall be inst'alled along existing streets within 90 days of the filing of <br />the plat or within 90 days of the completion of the construction of the streets. If the <br />streets are completed or the plat filed between November 1, and April 1, the 90 day <br />time period for installation of the required street lights shall commence on the <br />following April 1. <br /> <br />The Developer shall pay for street lights in the form of a cash deposit made prior to <br />the recording of the plat. The cost of street lights shall be set annually by <br />resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This ordinance becomes effective thirty (30) days after its publication subject to the City <br />Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br /> <br />
