Ramsey, MN 55303 Subject: P.I.N.: Proposed Sale of City Property 10-32-25-44-0009 Daryl Peterson: On March 13, 1990, the Ramsey City Council tabled the adoption of an ordinance for the sale of City property, P.I.N. 10-32-25-44-0009 and requested that City Staff provide additional information regarding costs incurred by the City associated with the sale of this property. The Finance Officer has indicated that the estimated cost of the sale of said property including legal fees, publishing costs, recording fees and staff time would be probably in the range of $300.00 to $350.00. In addition, the general intent of the City is to have this tax parcel to be reinstated on the property tax rolls and to hopefully have some revenues deposited in the Park Trust Fund from the sale of said property. City Council comments on March 13, 1990 indicated that the), are not willing to pay money to sell property. Based on the above information and your interest in purchasing the property, we would recommend that you reconsider your bid price of $100.00 and at least meet the cost the City is incurring for the sale of the property. It might even be advisable to offer some monetary amount above the $350.00 in consideration that the purpose the CiD' is selling the property is to hopefully generate money for the Park Trust Fund. The adoption of the ordinance authorizing the sale of Cit3, of Ramsey property P.I.N. 10-32-25-44- 0009 will be brought before the Council once we have received a response from you.
