The <br />parties agree to abide by these statutes, rules, and regulations Currently in effect and as they may <br />be amended. <br /> <br /> VIII. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION <br /> <br /> In accordance with Anoka County's Affirmative Action Policy and the County <br />Commissioners' Policy against discrimination, no person shall illegally be excluded, on the basis of <br />race, creed, color, sex, marital status, public assistance status, age, disability, handicap or national <br />origin, from full employment rights in, participation in, be denied the benefits or, or otherwise be <br />subject to discrimination under any program servic.¢, or activity which is the subject of the <br />Agreement in accordance with the provisions of any and all applicable federal and state laws <br />against discrimination.. <br /> <br /> IX. INDEMNIFICATION <br /> <br /> The parties mutually agree to indemnify and hold each other harmless from all <br /> <br />claims, demands, and causes of action of any kind or character, including the cost of defense <br />thereof, re. suiting from the acts or omissions of their respective commissioners, officers, officials, <br />agents and employees relating to activities conducted under this Agreement. <br /> <br /> X. ENTIRE AGREEMENTfREQUIREMENT OF A WRITING <br /> <br /> It is understood and agreed that the entire agreement of the parties is contained <br /> <br />herein and that this Agreement supersedes all oral agreements and ail negotiations between the <br />parties relating to the subject matter thereof, as well as any previous agreement presently in effect <br />between the parties relating to the subject matter thereof.
