I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION /190-07- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF HOSE AND NOZZLES FOR THE RAMSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT TANKER AND ADOPTING 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT //8 WHEREAS, on June 7, 1990 the Ramsey Fire Board recommended the purchase of hose and nozzles for the Ramsey Fire Department tanker, and WHEREAS, Fire Chief Hoeke obtained price quotes for these items as follows from Mid- Central of Elk River: 28 sections of 1-3/4" Angus hose @ $140.20 per section = $3,925.60 20 sections of 2-1/2" Angus hose @ $162.80 per section = $3,256.00 Two 1-1/2" Akron nozzles = $684.00 Total of $7,865.60 AND WHEREAS, this capital expenditure was not included in the Fire Department's 1990 budget; and WHEREAS, as these are considered start-up items, funding for this purchase is available from the Landf'fll Trust Fund; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment will increase the City's total 1990 General Fund budgeted expenditures by the amount of $7,865.60; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment will increase the City's total 1990 General Fund budgeted revenues: Other Financing Sources by the amount of $7,865.60. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of hose and nozzles for the Ramsey Fire Department from Mid-Central of Elk River in the amount of $7,865.60. 2) That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey is hereby instructed to enter 1990 Budget Amendment #8 into the City's financial systems to cause the budget amendment detailed in this resolution to be reflected in the City's financial records. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of July, 1990.
