I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />~ An As-Bullt drawing shall be provided to the Cl~/ show lng <br />the location of the conductors between the breaker cabinet and the pole <br />or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the City by the contractor <br />prior to the CI~ accepting the street Itghts. <br /> <br />5. Cables.' All conductors, suitable for direct burial, wlll be type USE, <br /> copper cabie wlth ground. <br /> <br />6. Groundlng; <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distribution ctrcult <br />there must be installed a driven ground as r~uired by National <br />Electric Code Article J250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any distribution circult over 300 feet In length must have a driven <br /> ground rod at midpoint. <br /> <br />C. Ground wlre must be insulated wire sultable for direct burial. <br /> <br />7. Clrcults: <br /> <br />For 120 volt clrcults all conductors will be brought up the pole <br />and connections wlll be made at the fixture. The ground wlre wlll be <br />connected to the groundlng lug if pro¥1ded. If there is no groundlng <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. <br /> <br />Where more than one light ls in line, a splice will be made above <br />grade in the Junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Spllclng shall be done in the <br />junction box and a in-the-line fuse shall be installed. <br /> <br />8. Photo Control: Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practical. <br /> <br />9. Locks.' One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by <br /> the electrical contrac~or. <br /> <br />10. Completlon: When street lighting is completed by the C~ntractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspector for Inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 <br /> The electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrlcal <br /> Inspection to the CI~/ of Anoka or NSP. The City of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energlze the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. <br /> Final acceptance ls not made until As-Builts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submltted to the CI~ Engineer by the Contrac~or. <br /> <br /> <br />
