Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~0-05- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE ORDERING OF THE CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM CONTAINERS WHEREAS, The Ramscy City Council approved the plans and specifications for the Curbside Recycling Program on June 26, 1990; and WHEREAS, The following bids have been received by thc City; BIDDER UNIT PRICE Lewisystem NOS 2616-14 Lewisystem RNON 2420-12 Piper Casepro Boyum Equipment Buckhorn $4.66 $6.01 $4.60 $5.49 $5.47 WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council will be accepting funding from Anoka County for the pumhase of containers for the Curbside Recycling Program. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Lewisystem Container NOS 2616-14 to be the container for the City-Wide Curbside Recycling Program. 2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Lewisystems Company in the name of the City of Ramsey for the purchase of 3,641 Curbside Recycling Containers according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council on June 26, 1990. 3) That the City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councitmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained; and the following were absent; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the day of ,1990.
