I I I I I I I I I I I I I I '1 I I I Coun¢ilmember resolution and moved for its adoption. introduced the following RESOLUTION #90-08- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BURNS TOWNSHIP TO PAVE THE NORTH 250 FEET OF WACO STREET IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has experienced an ongoing erosion problem on the north end of Waco Street; and WHEREAS, the Township of Burns has received bids and awarded a contract to W.B. Miller, Inc. to pave Waco Street in Burns Township; and WHEREAS, as part of the bids, Burns Township received an alternate bid in the amount of $3,905 to pave the north 250 feet in the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has determined that paving of the north 250 feet of Waco Street would solve a maintenance problem and result in a cost savings. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The City of Ramsey authorizes Burns Township to pave the north 250 feet of Waco Street in the City of Ramsey. 2) The city of Ramsey agrees to pay the Township of Burns for the work completed in Ramsey which was bid at $3,905. 3) Financing of the work on Waco Street shall be provided from the street maintenance budget. 4) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to send a copy of this resolution to Burns Township. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
